Book Image:

This book is a biography of Muhammad Ali, The Worldwide Famous Boxer. It includes many things like his story, What he looks like, and his poems.
Some example of his poems are;
Float like a butterfly,
Sting like a bee,
His hands can't hit what his eyes can't see
Another example;
I have wrestled with an alligator,
I have tussled with a whale.
I have handcuffed lightning,
and put thunder in jail...
Only last week, I hospitalized a brick.
I'm so mean I made medicine sick.
Another example;
To make America the greatest is my goal,
so I beat the Russian, and I beat the Pole.
One more;
Jones like to mix,
so I'll let it go six.
If he talks jive
I'll cut it to five.
And if he talks some more, I'll cut it to four!

His Place Of Birth

Muhammad Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. in January 17, 1942 in Lousville, Kentucky. He Passed Away June 3, 2016, Scottsdale, Arizona.

How He Became A Boxer

1954
Lousville's Columbia Auditorium
Cassius and his friends rode their bikes to Lousville's Columbia Auditorium to see the Louisville Home Show. After they had wandered around the show for several hours, Cassius found that his bike, a beloved red-and-white Schwinn, had been stolen.
He was very upset. Cassius looked around for an officer to report the theft. And he found the officer, Cassius was crying. He said he would like to hit whoever stole his bike. Joe Martin, the policeman, was actually teaching a boxing class in the basement gym of the auditorium. He invited Cassius to try boxing in order to channel his anger with some degree of control. Cassius soon discovered that not only did he enjoy boxing, he was really good at it. Not long after he began to train with Joe Martin, Cassius was featured at a local TV show called Tomorrow's Champions.
Cassius, who was only twelve years old at the time, took to the ring against a kid named Ronnie O'Keefe. Cassius won the fight, and that started his amazing boxing career.

His Fights

His career consists of many fights, here I will tell you the most popular ones.

March 8, 1971,

There was a bigger audience than the amount of people that watched the first moon landing in 1969.
Result: Joe Frazier Victory.

October 30, 1974,

Muhammad Ali VS George Foreman
Reports say, More than 1 Billion people watched the fight. Foreman was younger, bigger, and stronger than Ali. Most people thought Ali would lose the fight.

And Ali became the king of the world again,
He shocked the world.

How Ali became a Muslim

Muhammad Ali converted into a Muslim when he saw a member of N.O.I (Nation Of Islam) and heard the adzan. He decided to change his name from Cassius Marcellus Clay to Muhammad Ali and join the N.O.I
His brother also changed his name to Rahman Ali and joined the N.O.I

How Ali went to jail
During the Vietnam War America make military service mandatory, When Ali was called to join, he didn't want to and he was arrested for not doing mandatory military service, he said after he got out: "I don't want to go to war against someone i don't know."

After hearing this, the leader of N.O.I Kicked Ali because the leader didn't agree with what he said and was afraid Ali wasn't embracing N.O.I
His Brother Rahman Ali left N.O.I after this.

But they stayed as a Muslim, and thats how he converted to Islam and went to jail.

And that's the blog! I'll see you later in the next blog, Goodbye.
