Questions and Answers (Q&A) about Feelings: My Review

This is a detailed book about feelings and emotions, it can answer some of your questions like; Why don't adults get scared?
In my opinion it is a great book and it has good and informational content, it also has flaps which give the answers. It makes the book better! I am thankful my Aunt (Teta Ina) gave this to me. I will show some of the important questions children have that the book answers.
Chapter 1: All about Feelings
Q: What are feelings?
A: They're caused by chemicals in your brain. They're the reactions inside your body when something happens, When you're hugged by someone who love, your brain creates a HAPPY, RELAXING chemical called oxytocin.
Chapter 2: How are you feeling?
Q: Why don't I know how I'm feeling?
A: Feelings can be confusing - especially if your brain is telling you one thing but you're feeling something else. It can help to think it through.
Chapter 3: Why do I...
Q: Worry before a race?
A: It's normal to WORRY a little before doing something hard. It can nudge you to prepare and try your best. But too much worry is unhelpful. So try to focus, stay calm and trust yourself.
Chapter 4: Why don't...
Q: I like being teased?
A: Because it can feel HURTFUL and like you're being picked on. Others might say it's only a joke, but it's not funny if you're the one being teased.
Here are some ways of protecting yourself;
Turn it around
"You wouldn't like it if I said that to you."
Shrug it off
"So what, pfff."
Be funny.
"Thank you, I've always wanted to be a(n) ..."
Chapter 5: What can I do...
Q: If I upset someone?
A: Let the person know you're sorry and that you really mean it.
"I'm sorry for the mean thing i did/said, I won't do it again."
Chapter 6: Other people's feelings
Q: Are they ignoring me?
A: Maybe they just haven't seen you, try not to jump to the worst conclusion.
See what happens next time you bump into each other...
Chapter 7: Is it OK...
Q: To be afraid of the dark?
A: Yes its a very normal FEAR, to keep you safe, your brain is set up to worry about what it can't see. But that doesn't mean there are any dangers - especially when you're safely tucked up in bed.
You could try distracting yourself with nice or funny thoughts instead.
Chapter 8: What if...
Q: Grandma dies?
A: It would be really really SAD. But you don't want sadness about the future to spoil your time together now. Try to enjoy making HAPPY memories instead.
Chapter 9: Looking after your feelings
Q: Who can I talk to?
A: Talking to someone at home or a staff member at school is a good place to start.
They can work through the problem with you and find professional help if you need it.

What I like about the book is that it's helpful, informational, and fun.
That was the review, I hope you liked it!
